These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations that apply when using our platform. By accessing or interacting with our services, you agree to follow these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website or using any trading features, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue the use of our services immediately.
2. Description of services
AimCrate is an online marketplace that enables users to buy, sell, and trade virtual in-game items (skins) for Counter-Strike 2 and other supported titles. Our platform acts as an intermediary facilitating transactions between users and/or between users and the platform’s own inventory.
The services we provide include, but are not limited to:
- Purchasing skins — users can browse and buy virtual items listed on the platform at displayed prices using supported payment methods.
- Selling skins — users can list their own virtual items for sale on the platform and receive payouts upon successful completion of a transaction.
- Instant trade — users may exchange items directly through the platform’s automated trading system.
All transactions are facilitated through Steam trade offers and supported payment providers. AimCrate does not guarantee the future value of any virtual item, as prices are subject to market fluctuations.
3. Eligibility
To use the platform, you must:
- Be at least the legal age required in your region to participate in digital item trading.
- Own a valid Steam account that you personally control.
- Ensure that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
We may deny access to any user who fails to meet these requirements.
4. Registration and account
Registration on AimCrate is performed exclusively through Steam authentication (Steam OpenID / Steam Sign-In). We do not create separate login credentials — your AimCrate account is linked directly to your Steam account.
By registering, you confirm that:
- You are the rightful owner of the Steam account used for sign-in.
- Your Steam profile and inventory settings allow the platform to retrieve the necessary data for trading (e.g., public inventory, valid Trade URL).
- You will keep your Trade URL up to date in your account settings.
Each user may operate only one account. Creating multiple accounts to exploit promotions, manipulate pricing, or circumvent restrictions is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.
5. Platform usage rules
You agree to use the platform responsibly and lawfully. This includes:
- Not manipulating prices, interfering with trades, or abusing platform mechanics.
- Not attempting unauthorized access, security bypassing, or data extraction.
- Not impersonating other users or submitting fraudulent information.
- Not engaging in harassment, threats, or harmful communication.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent loss of access.
6. Trading process
All trades are executed through automated systems and official Steam interactions.
- Prices may fluctuate depending on market conditions.
- Trades are final once confirmed by both sides.
- We cannot reverse or recover items lost through user mistakes or external scams.
Users are responsible for double-checking items, wear levels, and trade confirmations.
7. Delivery of items
Virtual items purchased or traded on AimCrate are delivered to the buyer via Steam trade offers sent to the Trade URL specified in the user’s account settings.
- After a successful payment or trade confirmation, the platform initiates a Steam trade offer to the buyer’s account automatically.
- The user must accept the trade offer in the Steam client or Steam mobile app within the specified time frame. Unclaimed trade offers may expire and the transaction may be cancelled.
- Delivery times depend on Steam’s availability and network conditions. In most cases, trade offers are sent within minutes, but delays may occur due to Steam outages, trade holds, or Steam Guard restrictions.
- If the user’s Steam inventory is set to private, the Trade URL is invalid, or the user has an active Steam trade ban or trade hold, delivery may be delayed or impossible. In such cases, the platform is not liable for non-delivery.
- For items sold by the user, the platform will send a trade offer requesting the listed items. The user must accept this offer to complete the sale and receive the payout.
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure their Steam account is properly configured to receive trade offers at all times.
8. Pricing and payments
Certain features may apply a visible fee, clearly displayed before confirmation.
- All prices on the platform are displayed in the selected currency and include any applicable platform fees.
- Fees are non-refundable once a trade is completed.
- Payout methods may have additional processing requirements.
9. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting our support team is considered a violation of these Terms & Conditions.
- If a chargeback is initiated, your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
- Any virtual items associated with the disputed transaction may be frozen or removed.
- If the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or unjustified, you may be permanently banned from the platform and any outstanding balance may be forfeited.
- We reserve the right to pursue recovery of losses incurred due to fraudulent chargebacks, including administrative and legal costs.
If you believe a transaction was made in error or without your authorization, please contact our support team at support@aimcrate.com before initiating a dispute with your payment provider.
10. Refunds
Refund eligibility and procedures are governed by our Refund Policy, which is published separately on the website and forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.
By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in the Refund Policy. Please review it before completing any transaction.
In general, due to the nature of digital goods and virtual items, completed transactions where items have been successfully delivered are considered final. Specific exceptions and conditions are described in the Refund Policy.
11. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, Steam login, and connected devices secure.
- We recommend enabling 2FA on your Steam account.
- Unusual login activity may require additional verification.
- We cannot protect items lost due to compromised user credentials.
12. KYC and identity verification
In order to comply with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and to maintain the security of the platform, we reserve the right to request identity verification documents (Know Your Customer, KYC) from users at any time.
Verification may be required in the following cases, including but not limited to:
- High-value transactions or withdrawals exceeding certain thresholds.
- Suspicious or unusual account activity.
- Multiple accounts linked to the same identity or payment method.
- Chargeback or fraud investigations.
- Compliance with legal requests from regulatory authorities.
Requested documents may include a government-issued photo ID, proof of address, or other documentation as deemed necessary. Failure to provide the requested documents within the specified time frame may result in account restrictions, suspension of payouts, or account termination.
All personal data collected during the KYC process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Non-affiliation with Valve / Steam
AimCrate is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Valve Corporation, Steam, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
All trademarks, trade names, logos, and brand references related to Steam, Counter-Strike, and other Valve products are the property of Valve Corporation and are used on this website solely for identification and reference purposes.
Valve Corporation bears no responsibility for the services provided by AimCrate, and any issues arising from the use of our platform should be directed to our support team, not to Valve or Steam Support.
14. Platform availability
We aim to maintain stable and continuous access to all features, but service availability may be affected by:
- Steam outages or API delays.
- Maintenance, updates, or system improvements.
- Unpredictable network or server failures.
We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or connection issues.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:
- Losses resulting from delayed trades, Steam restrictions, or market fluctuations.
- Damage caused by unauthorized account access.
- Interactions with external websites, phishing attempts, or fraudulent third parties.
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Informal Resolution. Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at support@aimcrate.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 calendar days from the date of your initial complaint.
Mediation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may propose mediation through a mutually agreed mediator or a mediation body in Tallinn, Estonia. Mediation costs shall be shared equally unless otherwise agreed.
Jurisdiction. If mediation is unsuccessful or not pursued, any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Harju County, Tallinn, Republic of Estonia.
EU consumers. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also have the right to submit a complaint through the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. This does not affect your right to bring proceedings before a competent court.
17. Amendments to terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we may notify registered users via email or on-site notification.
